Mack Ray Edwards an American serial killer and child molester who murdered at least six children in Los Angeles County, California between 1953 and 1970. Edwards murdered at least two young girls and four young boys. He claimed at one point to have killed as many as eighteen victims. Edwards pleaded guilty to three counts of murder and was sentenced to death. In 1971, Mack Ray Edwards committed suicide by hanging himself with a television cord in his cell at San Quentin State Prison in San Quentin, California.
