Henry Lee Lucas an American drifter and serial killer known as The Confession Killer and The Highway Stalker. Lucas was convicted of eleven murders. Although he confessed to over 3,000 murders most are belived to be false confessions. Lucas befriended fellow serial killer Ottis Toole, and settled in Jacksonville, Florida where he lived with Toole's parents. On March 12, 2001, Henry Lee Lucas was found dead in prison from heart failure.

Henry Lee Lucas was born on August 23rd 1936 in Blacksburg, Virginia, US. His father, Anderson Lucas, an alcoholic and former railroad employee who had lost his legs in a train accident. His mother, Viola Lucas, a local prostitute who was violent to Henry. His mother and father abused alcohol and/or drugs. He had a head injury as well as a physically defect. During his education he had academic, social or discipline problems. Henry Lee Lucas was sexually, physically, and psychologically abused at some point of his life.

Henry Lee Lucas (August 23, 1936 – March 12, 2001) was an American serial killer. Lucas was arrested in Texas and on the basis of his confessions to Texas Rangers, hundreds of unsolved murders were attributed to him and officially classified as cleared up. Lucas was convicted of murdering 11 people and condemned to death for a single case with an unidentified victim.
