David Parker Ray a suspected American serial killer and rapist known as The Toy-Box Killer. Ray would kidnap, rape and torture victims in a soundproofed enclosed trailer equipped with devices used for sexual torture. He referred to the trailer as the toy box. In 1999, A potential victim escaped the torture trailer and alerted a nearby neighbor, the victim was naked and chained with a padlocked around her neck. Authorities in Arizona and New Mexico suspect that Ray was responsible for the murders of up to sixty victims, based on accusations by his accomplices including his own daughter. The victims bodies were never found. In 2001, Ray agreed to a plea bargain and was sentenced to two hundred and twenty-four consecutive years imprisonment. In 2002, David Parker Ray died from a heart attack while still in prison.

David Parker Ray was born on November 6th 1939 in Belen, city in New Mexico, United States. He was born 1st of 2 children and raised by his grandfather. He was raised as a oldest child and had one younger sister, Peggy Ray. His father abused alcohol and/or drugs. During his education he had academic, social or discipline problems, including being teased or picked on. David Parker Ray was physically abused at some point of his life.

He was arrested on March 22nd 1999 (Age 59), sentenced to two hundred and twenty-four consecutive years at Lea County Correctional Center in Hobbs, New Mexico, US. He was convicted on charges of murder and other possible charges during his lifetime.

David Parker Ray (November 6, 1939 – May 28, 2002), also known as the Toy-Box Killer, was an American suspected serial killer and known torturer of women. Though no bodies were found, he was accused by his accomplices of killing several people and suspected by the police to have murdered as many as 60 people from Arizona and New Mexico, while living in Elephant Butte, New Mexico, approximately 7 miles north of Truth or Consequences.
