Alfredo Prieto (Alfredo Rolando Prieto) a Salvadoran-American serial killer and rapist Prieto was convicted of three murders and suspected of six more between 1988 and 1990. Prieto was sentenced to death in California in 1992 and sentenced to a second death sentence in Virginia in 2010. While in prison in California, Prieto's DNA was linked to the three homicides. In addition the three murder convictions, Prieto is suspected but not charged in the killings of six more victims between 1988 and 1990. A study from Radford University states he had an IQ of 70. In 2015, Alfredo Prieto was executed by lethal injection at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt, Virginia.
