Jesse Pomeroy (Jesse Harding Pomeroy) an American serial killer known as The Boston Boy Fiend, The Boy Torturer, The Demon and The Red Devil. Pomeroy lured younger children and tortured them for his sexual pleasure, killing two. Pomeroy's sentence was commuted to life in prison in solitary confinement in 1876. In 1929 he was transferred to a hospital for the criminally Insane. Jesse Pomeroy died in 1932 of natural causes while still in custody at Bridgewater Hospital for the Criminally Insane in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Jesse Pomeroy was born on November 29th 1859 in Charlestown in Massachusetts, state of the United States of America. He was born 2nd of 2 children and raised by both parents until (Age 12), reform school until (Age 14), mother until (Age 15), prison until adulthood. Pomeroy was raised as a youngest child and had one older brother, Charles Jefferson Pomeroy. His father, Thomas J. Pomeroy, a veteran of the U.S. Civil War, who worked at the Navy Yard, separated from Ruth and family, Jesse (Age 12). His mother, Ruth Ann Snowman, a local shop owner. During his education he had academic, social or discipline problems, including being teased or picked on. Jesse Pomeroy was sexually, physically, and psychologically abused at some point of his life.

Jesse Harding Pomeroy (; November 29, 1859 – September 29, 1932) was an American Serial Killer and the youngest person in the history of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to be convicted of murder in the first degree. He was found guilty by a jury trial held in the Supreme Judicial Court of Suffolk County in December 1874.
