Patrick McCullough was born on January 20th 1960 in Anchorage, Alaska, US. He was born 3rd of 3 children and raised by both parents unit (Age 7), his mother and step-father until (Age 17) his foster-father, Brent Toleman, a mental-health professional, until (Age 17), Crownsville hospital’s maximum security section, a unit for the criminally insane until adulthood. He was raised as a youngest child and had two older brothers or sisters. His father, Glen McCullough, divorced June, Patrick (Age 7). His mother, June McCullough. He had a head injury as well as a physically and speach defect. During his education he had academic, social or discipline problems, including being teased or picked on.

He took an intelligence quotient test before or after his crimes, Patrick McCullough had an IQ of 120. He completed 10 years of school, no degree received. He never married. He had no children.

Prior to his spree he had killed, commited crimes, served time in jail, and served time in prison. He was known to abuse alcohol and drugs. He saw a psychologist and spent time in a Forensic Hospital.
