Javed Iqbal (Javed Iqbal Mughal) a Pakistani serial killer known as Kukri. Iqbal was found guilty of the sexual abuse and murder of one-hundred boys. Iqbal sent a letter to police and a Lahore newspaper confessing to the murders of one-hundred boys, all aged between 6 and 16. In the letter, he claimed to have strangled and dismembered the victims then disposed of their bodies using hydrochloric acid. The judge sentenced Iqbal to be strangled to death with the same chain he used to kill the children, that his body be cut into one-hundred pieces and put in acid, the same Iqbal used to dispose of the bodies of his young victims.

He was arrested on December 30th 1999, convicted on March 16th 2000, sentenced to death by public strangulation at Central Jail Lahore, Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore, Capital of the Punjab Province, Pakistan. He was convicted on charges of murder, child sexual abuse and other possible charges during his lifetime.
Javed Iqbal died on October 8th 2001, cause of death: found dead in his cell, apparent suicide by hanging, later autopsies revealed that they had been beaten prior to death at Central Jail Lahore, Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore, Pakistan.
