Takahiro Shiraishi a Japanese serial killer known as the Twitter Killer who confessed to killing one person in August, four in September and four in October 2017. Shiraishi was known to murder, rape dismember, and store the bodies at his apartment in Zama, Kanagawa prefecture, on the outskirts of Tokyo. Eight of the nine victims were women, mainly in their late teens to early 20s. Police found seven boxes of body parts, including nine human heads and 240 other bones in Shiraishi's apartment in Zama city, Japan in October 2017. Reportedly, Shiraishi used Twitter to lure suicidal women to his house so he could watch them commit suicide. In October 2020 Shiraishi pled guilty to the 9 murders. In December 2020 Takahiro Shiraishi was sentenced to death.

The Zama Suicide Pact slayings was a multiple homicide occurring in Zama, Japan, in November 2017, in which nine people, mostly young women including 3 high school girls, were killed by a 27-year-old man, Takahiro Shiraishi.
